I’m trying to glo somewhere by myself for a few nights in March. I really want to go to Sicily during this trip but not if I’m going to get kidnapped by a Don or something. Or robbed, raped, etc.
If this is a no go, any suggestions? I’m already going to the Amalfi Coast, Florence, Venice and Cinque Terre.

this is my bathroom. take a close look.
see those little little blue towels with the embroidered snowflakes? right. those are for decoration. I know that some people may not see the point in hand towels that you don’t wad up and wipe your nasty hands/face/butt on, but i do. You don’t crumple up the little towel to wipe your toothpast-y mouth after you brush your teeth. You don’t wad it up to sop up a spill. They are just there to be pretty, dammit!
this angers me. let this be a lesson to you all.
i personally always feel guilty using the “hand” towels in other peoples’ houses, i usually just wipe my hands on my jeans :)
